Emotionally Compromised

When we’re sad about something or angry, showing emotion toward someone or something, we’re vulnerable to the Devil. He sees us when  we’re under stress and takes that opportunity to fill us with hate and evil things. we can’t let him get to us and believe what he says. As long as we have God in our lives, no matter what Satin tries to persuade our minds to do things we don’t want to do, our hearts will still remain true to God.

{Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.}

No one likes doing things that we don’t feel like doing like chores or homework or something like that. We would rather do something easy or that wouldn’t take to much time, but if we have discipline, we would do it anyway, because the reward is (most of the time) worth it.

{Hebrews 12:11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.}

“Nothing is Impossible”

That saying, “Nothing is impossible”, well nothing is truly impossible, we just think that because we don’t believe in ourselves that we can do what Jesus did. When we tell ourselves that something is impossible, then we believe it. Nothing is impossible if, that is, we have God in us, because “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13

{Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”}

To be courageous is not to be the bravest of all, it is to be the one who is not afraid of what the devil can do. Being courageous is not being the one who is the most brave, bravery is found in the one who embraces their own fears. You can say you’re brave but do you really mean it? some people say that but when danger is staring at them, they chicken out, they get scared and forget about what they said about them being brave.

{Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”}

The Fear Of The Lord

What does it mean to fear God. Now to the Fear of the Lord, is different from fear of punishment, whereas the fear of God is like a son fears to offend his father or to be separated from him. Hence, when Scripture says we should “Fear the Lord” it doesn’t mean we should run and hide because God is going to punish us, but rather we should receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Although the word “fear” tends to elicit negative reactions, that the Fear of the Lord as a very great and highly prized blessing.

{Psalm 103: 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth so great is his love for those who fear him;}

It may seem like miracles only happened back in Jesus’s time, but they happen now two, we just don’t notice it because with the technology that we have now, like that doctors are able to cure more sickness’s and than back then, that we just don’t see the miracles that happen right now. We don’t see them because we think that the miracles Jesus preformed are way different than what we do now. We’re so used to the doctors healing people that we don’t realize that that’s the same thing Jesus did, he cured the sick, a different way, but it’s the still same, because Jesus and doctors heal people.

{John 4: 48 Then Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and miracles happen, you [people] never will believe (trust, have faith) at all.}

Not That Tree!

God Specifically told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge, but God knew they would anyway because he knows everything, so why would he put that tree there if he told them they could not eat from it and know that they would? Why? Too give them a choice, if God did not plant that tree, Adam and eve would have never sinned, and we would be perfect. We would get to choose because we would always do the right thing. Everything happens for a reason, and that’s what I think God’s reason was for created that tree.

{Genesis 2: 16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”}
